Clinical Dispatcher

Role Description Responsibilities for this position include: - Answering customer calls - Scheduling and coordinating all service calls as calls are received - Maintaining ordering system - Ensuring that services are completed in a timely fashion - Answering questions and providing information This job reports to the Manager of Dispatch. Responsibilities - Answers customer calls - Enters new orders in ordering system and assigns orders to PICC RNs - Maintains and monitors ordering system to assure that orders are completed in a timely manner - Creates and maintains a physical log of calls received and dispatched - Communicates with clients regarding orders received/completed - Communicates and coordinates with PICC RNs and Regional Managers Qualifications - General knowledge of computer software (Windows and Microsoft Office), computer hardware, and computer servers - Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel and Microsoft Word software - High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation - Knowledge of office administration procedures - Ability to operate most standard office equipment - Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills - Excellent telephone and oral communication skills - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent with some college or technical school coursework - Minimum of six months of job-related experience - Technical experience, including responsibility for maintaining computer systems - Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities Work Environment - The location of this job is at the employee’s discretion (must be within the DFW area) - Employee should work primarily uninterrupted and in a quiet environment to assure clear communication with clients and staff - Actual location can be at the employee’s home or anywhere there is a clear cellular signal - This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This program exclusively serves justice-involved adults who are experiencing mental illness and have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial. The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible. Services are provided onsite to inmates at several county jails in located in San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, and San Mateo Counties. As Liberty Healthcare’s Clinical Supervisor, you will enjoy an array of responsibilities, including: - Overseeing forensic evaluations for people who are justice involved and experiencing mental illness - Ensuring clinical services are consistent with best practices in the forensic mental health field - Leading various quality assurance, compliance, and training initiatives - Direct and indirect supervision of licensed clinicians and ancillary professionals - Collaborating with the program’s Executive Director as well as program leaders and staff - Fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders at the California Department of State Hospitals and county sheriff’s departments - Providing clinical services occasionally as needed This is primarily a remote role which will allow you to work remotely from your home office in California. Although infrequent, you may be required to occasionally travel to service locations (mostly in Southern California). The Clinical Preceptor holds accountability for supporting Network Manager (NWM) and Business Contact (BC) role development and integration into the Paradigm culture and clinical practice environment.
