Role Description We are seeking a Corporate Development Intern (all genders) based in Germany on a 3 months internship basis. - 3-Year-Planning - Financial Planning: Drive the preparation of detailed long-term business plans, covering the three core financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow). - Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends and competitor data to refine our 3-Year Plan. - Scenario Planning: Develop business cases for specific business segments. - M&A - Sourcing: Identify acquisition targets (market mapping, long & short lists). - Valuation: Assist in complex financial modeling (DCF, Multiples analysis) to support target valuation and indicative offer preparation. - Due Diligence: Participate in the deep dive (Financial, Legal, Commercial) for risk assessment. - Integration: Support post-merger integration (PMI) to realize synergies. - Strategic Projects - Strategic market analysis: Support in identifying new, attractive growth segments. - Project Management: Drive and own specific strategic initiatives (e.g., setting up strategic partnerships). Qualifications - Currently enrolled in or recently completed an advanced degree (Master's preferred) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related quantitative field. - First practical experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Corporate Development is an advantage. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint. - Proactive work ethic and the ability to clearly present complex matters. - Fluent English skills (German skills are a plus). - Outstanding academic track record.
