Operations Officer – Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications
Intecon
• Execute and track operational tasking across NC3 stakeholders • Integrate inputs from operational, technical, and policy communities • Develop recommendations to inform enterprise decisions supporting CJCS equities • Assess operational impacts, risks, and dependencies associated with NC3 activities • Advise senior Joint Staff leadership on execution issues, priorities, and courses of action • Monitor systems and programs for compliance with operational requirements and SLAs • Support NC3 exercises, assessments, and operational activities • Develop trend data and recommendations for further analysis • Document key operational activities, information exchanges, and system components.
Job Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with NC2-ESI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience supporting NC3, NC2, or complex C2 operations
- U.S. Citizenship
- Prior NC3 or NMCS operational support experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of NMCS architecture and system interdependencies (preferred)
- Experience with cybersecurity policy compliance in classified environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with DISA services and Joint Staff Support Center operations (preferred)
- Experience with system architecture review and conflict resolution (preferred)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, cloud integration, or DDIL operations (preferred).
