Senior Civil Engineer
AECOM
• Serve as a professional engineer for large, complex projects • Understanding of all aspects in CCR (Coal Combustion Residuals) • Provide technical expertise in site-civil engineering • Maintain the ability to interface with the client • Mentor and develop younger staff members • May serve as technical advisor for team • Provides input on staff's specific area of expertise • Develop cost estimates of technical projects
Job Requirements
- BA/BS in Civil Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience with Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR)
- Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- 11+ years of relevant experience at an engineering consulting firm (Preferred)
- Ability to proactively lead technical efforts and project team staff (Preferred)
- Experience as Senior Project Engineer on large scale projects, including landfills, material excavation and dewatering, and coal ash closure (Preferred)
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification (Preferred)
