Construction Engineer I – Temp-to-Hire
SOLV Energy
• Support Warranty Analysis by gathering data and supporting engineering review of design or installation issues • Assist in Emerging Technologies Implementation with GPS-enabled pile driving and drone-based survey workflows • Coordinate RFIs, design updates, and field engineering clarifications during operations • Assist with planning and documenting pile load testing procedures and communicate findings with project teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or a closely related technical field (preferred)
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical plans)
- Foundational understanding of construction processes and engineering documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; exposure to CAD, GIS, drone‑capture platforms, GPS machine‑control datasets preferred
- Ability to conduct field work and a sense of urgency and ownership
