Role Description The Project Manager is responsible for overall management of Substation construction/operation resulting in successful project execution. Role Description The Equity Administration Manager is responsible for the end-to-end facilitation of company-wide equity programs and delivers personalized support to executives and employees on their awards, ownership requirements, and reporting responsibilities. This position will stand up, lead, and scale the administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of SOLV Energy’s equity compensation programs. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of equity awards while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, and external vendors. - Oversee the full administration of long-term incentive programs, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from grant issuance through vesting, lapses, and tax-related activities. - Own and manage end-to-end equity plan administration, including grants, vesting, exercises, and settlements. - Stand up and scale the company’s equity administration function, including development of processes, controls, and documentation. - Partner with Payroll, Tax, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements (e.g., SEC and IRS). - Support public company reporting requirements, including proxy statement disclosures, Forms 4, and 10-K/10-Q equity-related reporting (in partnership with Legal and Finance). - Lead implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of equity administration systems (e.g., Shareworks, Carta, or similar platforms). - Partner with Payroll, Tax, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate tax withholding, accounting treatment, and financial reporting and disclosure (ASC 718). - Oversee equity data integrity, reconciliations, and controls. - Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls for equity processes. - Support Compensation Committee and Board processes, including equity plan tracking, burn rate, dilution, and share usage analysis, as well as benchmarking equity practices. - Manage vendor relationships and evaluate tools to improve efficiency and scalability. - Deliver high-quality support to employees and executives by addressing equity-related questions and resolving issues with clarity and responsiveness. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, Business, or related field. - 6+ years of experience in equity compensation administration, including leadership experience, preferably including experience in a nascent public company or IPO environment. - CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation preferred. - Strong knowledge of equity compensation plans (RSUs, stock options, ESPP) and related regulations. - Experience managing equity administration systems (e.g., Shareworks, Carta, or similar platforms). - Solid understanding of accounting principles (ASC 718) and tax implications. - Experience in a high-growth or publicly traded company preferred. - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Strategic thinker with strong business acumen. - Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. - Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. - Experience with Renewables and/or Construction preferred. • Provide leadership and oversight for day-to-day operations of high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects, with a core focus on substations (69kV–500kV), switchyards, and transmission interconnections. • Develop, implement, and continuously improve substation-focused operational procedures and best practices in alignment with utility standards, NESC, and OSHA guidelines. • Mentor and develop field leadership personnel including superintendents, assistant superintendents, foremen, and craft labor—emphasizing technical competency and safety in substation construction. • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and subcontracting teams to ensure accurate design interpretation, on-time delivery of major substation components (transformers, breakers, relays, P&C panels), and field readiness. • Conduct regular site visits and quality control inspections specific to substation installations, grounding, relay wiring, terminations, and equipment testing. • Enforce and model a strong culture of safety, with a priority on energized substation environments and high-voltage electrical hazards, following SOLV and OSHA standards. • Lead task planning and crew mobilization activities, providing clear direction for substation civil, electrical, and commissioning scopes. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, utility, and internal standards applicable to substation construction, energization, and operation. • Serve as the primary operations liaison with utilities, project owners, regulatory agencies, contractors, and vendors, maintaining transparent communication and issue resolution. • Monitor and track construction progress, commissioning milestones, and operational KPIs, reporting updates and challenges to senior leadership. • Support project handoff to O&M teams post-energization, ensuring all as-built documentation, testing records, and training materials are in place. • Lead and participate in lessons learned reviews to improve future substation operations.
