Community Health Centers of the Rutland Region

Role Description We are seeking a Master’s Level Licensed Counselor to provide mental health treatment to children and adults in the Southern-Central Vermont area. This position will work with individuals dealing with a variety of mental health disorders on a number of psychological assessments and therapeutic techniques, while participating on interdisciplinary treatment teams. Based on the needs and preferences of the client, each client will receive an individualized treatment plan. The goals of the treatment are to develop emotional communication/stress management skills, mend past relationships, and build a support system within the community. - Individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and feedback. - Maintain accurate and organized client records, progress notes, and treatment documentation. - Facilitate referral to alternative or additional providers as clinically appropriate. - Clearly communicate the social work role with healthcare team and actively participate in team planning for patient care. - Provide employee assistance on request. - Administer evidence-based screenings and assessments. Qualifications - Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or other Human Services field. - Licensed clinician required (LMHC, LADC, LICSW, LMFT). - 5 years experience as Licensed Clinician. - Ability to get Vermont Licensure. - Must be client centered and recovery oriented. - Ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and strong interpersonal skills in interactions with clients. - Computer literacy/proficiency, including experience working within electronic Medical records (EMRs). - Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients, families, co-workers. - Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. - A genuine passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and achieve personal growth. Role Description The role of a Ria Health Recovery Coach is to support Ria members to reduce or eliminate alcohol use through pharmacotherapy, targeted protocols, technology platforms, and coaching tools. - Provide education on alcohol use and its effects on health. - Use various coaching tools based on CBT and MI to provide positive health outcomes. - Utilize engagement techniques based on empathy, rapport, compassion, and positive regard. - Work interdependently with various team members and departments in a virtual team clinic environment. - Monitor members to positive outcomes using Ria’s technology platforms. - Develop new coaching tools and problem-solve on retention concerns. - Manage member’s coaching experiences from beginning to end. Qualifications - Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor in your state or equivalent to AADC, ADC, CADC, CADAC, LAADC, or MCAP. - Certification must be part of IC&RC (International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium). - 3-5 years in AUD or addiction treatment. - BA/BS and/or MA preferred. - Background in addiction treatment/services, wellness, chronic disease management, and related topics. - Secure private space with proper lighting for video coaching sessions. - Direct high-speed internet access for video coaching sessions. - Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications. - Knowledgeable of SUD treatment programs that are evidence-based and outcome-driven. - Experience with pharmacotherapy and/or medicated-assisted treatment. - Experience with a startup, virtual health, and/or telehealth settings. Role Description Under general supervision this position is responsible for ensuring that provider assignment errors are corrected prior to final closing for all Datasets by auditing and analyzing reports of charges to assure appropriate and accurate provider assignment and CPT to place of service assignment.
