• Create detailed cable, connector, and contact designs on 3D or 2D CAD system. • Technical lead for the development of interconnect solutions including design of the following: contacts, insulators, cabling and latching mechanisms. • Support Senior Design Engineer for development of complex interconnect solutions. • Coordinate the construction of functional and non-functional prototypes with internal and external vendors. • Lead/support group design reviews using calculations, experimental results or research. • Technical lead during the new product introduction process, including assisting manufacturing with tooling adjustments. • Provide technical support for existing products. • Apply principles of electrical engineering as they pertain to connectors, contact technology and cable design. • Generate test procedures and test and/or oversee testing of new designs as necessary. • Perform risk analysis such as FMEA as it pertains to AS9100. • Be able to travel domestically and internationally.

• Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and specifications based on project requirements and industry standards • Perform stress analysis and thermal expansion calculations to ensure system integrity • Select appropriate materials and components for piping systems, considering factors such as temperature, pressure, and chemical compatibility • Lead piping engineering efforts for projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical) to integrate piping systems into overall project designs • Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments for piping-related activities • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI, OSHA) • Conduct quality assurance checks and audits of piping systems during design and construction phases • Conduct hydraulic and flow analysis to optimize piping system performance • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to piping systems during construction, commissioning, and operation • Supervise junior engineers and designers, providing guidance and technical expertise • Communicate technical solutions and progress updates to clients and stakeholders

In this role, the engineer will interface with engineering design firms, contractors, and site production teams to establish and maintain facility cooling and distribution systems. The role will cover multiple sites and will be part of a larger team that establishes capabilities and procedures for global operations. - Engage with contractors and manufacturing staff to identify the appropriate Facility Cooling System designs needed to meet process requirements. - Research product technologies and present objective evaluations to guide capital purchase decisions. - Establish processes to manage all aspects of operation to cover safety, critical controls, preventive maintenance, and ongoing performance evaluation. - Engage with site and corporate product teams to understand production and customer requirements and present feasible solutions. - Engage with ASHRAE industry groups to ensure compliance with industry practices and standards. - Use 3D modeling methods to analyze technical designs and communicate concepts. - Engage with site facility teams to maintain compliance with local safety and environmental regulations. - 25% travel mainly in North America.
