Role Description This is a remote role. To be considered for this role, you must already live in New Jersey or a state bordering New Jersey. The Professional Services Accreditation team partners with public safety agencies to implement, maintain, and sustain accreditation programs that strengthen operational effectiveness, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with industry standards. A primary focus of this team is supporting agencies in New Jersey through the NJACOP accreditation program, while also contributing to accreditation efforts in other jurisdictions. The Program Manager – Accreditation leads end-to-end accreditation projects, serving as both a project leader and subject matter expert. This role is responsible for guiding agencies through the NJACOP accreditation process, ensuring compliance, managing timelines and deliverables, and building strong client relationships that drive successful outcomes. - Successful Project Delivery (40%) - Lead end-to-end NJACOP accreditation projects from initiation through completion - Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation - Track progress and maintain accurate reporting on project status - Identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolving delays or roadblocks - NJACOP Accreditation Compliance & Expertise (30%) - Serve as a subject matter expert on NJACOP accreditation standards and requirements - Guide agencies in policy development, implementation, and compliance alignment - Conduct document reviews, assessments, and readiness evaluations - Support agencies through accreditation cycles, including preparation and maintenance - Client Experience & Relationship Management (20%) - Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients - Build strong relationships with agency leadership and key stakeholders - Deliver training, guidance, and ongoing support throughout the engagement - Identify client needs, gather feedback, and ensure a high-quality client experience - Program Consistency & Continuous Improvement (10%) - Apply standardized processes and best practices across all engagements - Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and delivery methods - Stay current on NJACOP standards, regulatory updates, and industry trends - Contribute to team knowledge sharing and process enhancements Qualifications - 5+ years of NJACOP accreditation experience (Accreditation Manager, Assessor, or equivalent) - Strong working knowledge of NJACOP standards and New Jersey regulatory requirements - 10+ years of US Law Enforcement with a local law enforcement agency in New Jersey - 5+ years of accreditation, compliance, or policy-related experience within a New Jersey public safety agency - Demonstrated project management experience, including managing multiple projects and deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with agency leadership - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Requirements - Prior experience as an NJACOP Accreditation Manager or Assessor - Experience with CALEA accreditation programs - Familiarity with PowerDMS, PMAM, or similar accreditation management systems Benefits - Competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive - Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match - Flexible paid time off plan - Base salary for this role starts at $78,000 and is dependent on experience - This role also includes a bonus opportunity, based on performance Company Description Lexipol is the leader in advancing total readiness for public safety agencies, helping leaders reduce risk, ease administrative burdens, and strengthen community trust.
