Role Description The Program Manager will manage and document the performance of Fairbanks Morse Aftermarket (FMA) projects, including: - Project budgets - Schedules - Estimates to complete - Work progress - Coordinate project deliverables in accordance with individual project objectives, segment goals, initiatives, and strategy The incumbent will coordinate efforts of the service and engineering teams to ensure customer goals and timelines are met. The Program Manager is expected to plan and oversee the execution of projects, requiring administrative control of the portfolio of projects in accordance with established standard practices. Role Description Join the dynamic team at Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD) as a Global Contracts Manager and play a vital role in managing and negotiating government, commercial, and international contracts that drive our global success. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Business Unit leaders, legal counsel, and finance teams to review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with FMD’s business strategy and legal interests. Job Description Job Title: Master Planner - Field Service Reports To: VP, Service Summary The Field Service Master Planner is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the scheduling, planning, and logistical support of field service operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery for internal and external customers. This role involves managing capacity constraints, optimizing resource allocation, and improving response times to meet customer demands while aligning with organizational goals. Principle Duties and Responsibilities - Scheduling and Planning - Develop and maintain the Field Service Master Schedule and update it daily to reflect current priorities and capacity. - Coordinate with Field Service Supervisors, Program Managers, and Strategic Account Directors to ensure alignment of resources with service demands. - Resource Management - Analyze capacity constraints and make resource recommendations to ensure efficient service execution. - Review resource capabilities/experience/certifications to ensure the resources identified are appropriately qualified to perform the work. - Track the availability of personnel and tools required for field service operations. - Operational Optimization - Improve system workflows to enhance material and information flow, increasing responsiveness to internal customer needs. - Strategize and implement solutions to reduce service travel (i.e. prioritize use of resources for projects within their respective region) and improve turnaround times for all field service operations. - Customer Support and Communication - Prepare and coordinate weekly field service plans, ensuring timely communication with internal customers. - Lead daily discussions with Service on resource planning, and make changes to the resource plan as required when ongoing projects are extended, future projects are delayed, etc. - Communicate resource plans and capacity requirements to the Service organization. - Communicate utilization and absorption hours to the FMA Finance team for business financial forecasts. - Performance Monitoring - Monitor service execution rates and provide regular updates to senior leadership. - Calculate resource capacity and make strategic recommendations for meeting future service requirements / skillsets given the forecast of future service work. Contracts can range in value from zero-dollar transactions to engagements exceeding $50,000,000. The Contracts Specialist will review agreements and other documents to ensure consistency with company standards, templates, and leadership guidance. Additionally, the role involves negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, customers, and external partners, primarily through virtual platforms such as Teams or Zoom, as well as email. Occasional in-person negotiations and travel may be required but are rare. The Contracts Specialist will report to the Director of Contracts, who will assign tasks and provide oversight. Work requests may also come through the company’s Contract Management System or directly from other internal teams. This role is a critical part of the contracts team, supporting the Director of Contracts as a key partner in achieving organizational goals. This position works closely with HR team members and cross-functional partners to support: - Leave administration - Benefits and compensation programs - HRIS data integrity - Overall HR operational processes Key Responsibilities - Leave of Absence Administration: - Lead day-to-day administration of leave of absence programs including FMLA, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and other company leave programs. - Coordinate with leave vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. - Maintain accurate leave records and provide guidance to HR team members navigating leave processes. - HR Systems & Data Integrity: - Maintain employee lifecycle transactions within the HRIS including new hires, status changes, and terminations. - Perform HR data audits and support workforce reporting and HR analytics. - Assist with HRIS testing, system updates, and documentation of HR processes. - Compensation Support: - Support compensation processes including merit cycles, maintenance of salary ranges and structures, and compensation changes. - Assist with salary surveys, market benchmarking, job pricing, and pay equity analysis. - Benefits Administration: - Support administration of health, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs. - Assist with open enrollment, employee communications, and distribution of required notices. - Coordinate with vendors and support resolution of escalated benefit issues referred by local HR team members. - HR Operations Support: - Support the HR shared services inbox and case management processes, helping ensure inquiries are routed and resolved in a timely manner. - Provide guidance to local HR team members on HR policies, benefits, and programs. - Support continuous improvement of HR operational processes and other HR projects as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience will also be considered. - Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, or similar credential preferred. Requirements - 3–5 years of experience supporting HR operations, benefits administration, HRIS administration, or total rewards programs. - Experience administering leave of absence programs (e.g., FMLA, STD, LTD, or similar absence management programs) and health & welfare programs required. - Experience working within an HR shared services or HR operations environment preferred. - Experience supporting compensation processes (salary surveys, market pricing, job evaluation, merit cycles) preferred. - Experience supporting HR operations in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site operating environment preferred. - HRIS experience required; Dayforce experience preferred. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. - Experience working with HR data, reporting, and system transactions.
