Job Description

Data Analyst II – ROI, Performance

Lojas Renner S.A.

• Measure the impact of BI and Analytics deliveries, including financial gains, operational efficiency and cost reductions; • Define and monitor KPIs related to implemented initiatives, ensuring continuous visibility of performance; • Estimate and model financial return (ROI) of data projects and initiatives; • Identify operational gains (e.g., productivity improvements, reduction of effort/FTEs) resulting from implemented solutions; • Challenge and support prioritization of requests based on the impact generated for the business; • Conduct exploratory analyses to identify opportunities and generate hypotheses for improvement; • Develop ad hoc analyses to support decision-making; • Document methodologies, calculation assumptions and analyses performed, ensuring traceability and consistency; • Work collaboratively with Data, BI and business teams to ensure alignment on metrics, hypotheses and results.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with data analyses applied to business problems;
  • Experience defining, monitoring and analyzing KPIs;
  • Experience measuring impact and building value indicators (ROI, efficiency, productivity);
  • Knowledge of data manipulation, analysis and visualization;
  • Programming in SQL and Python;
  • Ability to structure analyses and communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders;
  • Analytical thinking combined with an impact-driven mindset and value-oriented prioritization.
  • Preferred / Nice to have
  • Experience measuring the impact of data initiatives (Analytics, BI, data products);
  • Experience building ROI models or business cases;
  • Experience in Shared Services Centers (SSC) and/or Customer Service hubs;
  • Experience in data-driven environments (Data, Analytics or BI teams);
  • Experience improving operational efficiency and productivity;
  • Knowledge of intelligent automation and AI applied to data;
  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields;
  • Knowledge of analytical modeling and basic statistics;
  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud);
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies;
  • Stakeholder management skills and a consultative approach.

Role Description The Data Operations Analyst will join the Technology function, solving complex data problems for the Revecore Data Platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to platform and automation improvements while working closely with Data Engineering to support data ingestion, pipelines, and data operations. - Support production data operations, including troubleshooting data issues, pipeline failures, and file delivery incidents. - Drive the design and implementation of end-to-end data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability across data pipelines. - Build and maintain automated data validation and monitoring processes to proactively detect and resolve data issues. - Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes, and drive improvements to systems and processes. - Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support data analysis and operational workflows. - Oversee data reconciliation across systems, ensuring high data fidelity and alignment. - Support and troubleshoot data pipeline orchestration, including components built in C# and other backend technologies. - Assist in maintaining and enhancing applications used for data movement, transformation, and delivery. - Contribute to modernization efforts by helping transition legacy data workflows and file transfers. - Support deployment and release processes, including CI/CD pipelines and environment consistency. - Build and enhance monitoring and alerting frameworks to provide visibility into pipeline health, data quality, and operational performance. - Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve high-impact data issues in a timely manner. - Collaborate with Data Engineering to support data ingestion, file processing, and pipeline operations. - Partner with Data Engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and performance of data workflows. Qualifications - Experience working with file-based data integrations (e.g., SFTP, flat files, EDI) and troubleshooting file delivery issues. - Strong experience with SQL (T-SQL) and Snowflake for querying, performance tuning, and troubleshooting is required. - Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and data workflows. - Strong proficiency in C#, with experience supporting or enhancing data-related applications used for orchestration, transformation, and file processing. - Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core. - Ability to troubleshoot and support legacy systems while contributing to modernization efforts. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and deployment best practices. - Understanding software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, and release processes. - Experience working with healthcare data and HIPAA compliance requirements. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex data and system issues. - Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. - Experience mentoring team members and promoting data quality best practices.
