Role Description Good Inside is hiring a freelance video designer who knows how to make paid social ads that actually convert. You're not just editing footage — you're making creative decisions that directly drive acquisition. You understand why one hook lands and another doesn't, why pacing kills a click-through rate, and how to turn raw UGC into a polished direct-response ad. You're equally comfortable building a motion-graphics-driven ad from scratch as you are transforming raw UGC into a polished direct-response spot. You'll collaborate with our performance marketing team on paid creative deliverables across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. This is a fully remote position, up to 10 hours per week. Qualifications - Concepting and producing paid social ads end-to-end with direct focus on conversion - Confident working across the full creative spectrum: pure motion graphics, hybrid UGC/graphics, and everything in between — without needing a brief for every variation - You can concept and execute. You're not waiting on a creative director to tell you what a hook should be. - Experience briefing UGC creators, not just editing their footage - Strong command of Premiere Pro and After Effects (or comparable tools) - Sharp instincts around pacing, typography, and visual hierarchy in small formats - You work fast, incorporate feedback well, and deliver clean work under deadline pressure — fast-turnaround project cycles are common Requirements - Bonus points: - Experience with parenting, wellness, education, or subscription/membership brands - Familiarity with creative testing frameworks (concept + hook + format variation) - You've worked in-house or embedded with a performance marketing team before - Experience synthesizing motion styles across teams or channels into a cohesive brand look - Familiarity with UI animation or web motion - Experience building or contributing to a motion design system — reusable templates, animation principles, guidelines others can pull from - Comfortable working with product/UI assets and evolving them for marketing production (homepage, landing pages, video libraries) Benefits - Hourly Compensation: $80- $100, 1099 - Up to 10 hours/week, Flexible schedule - Fully remote - A high-ownership, high-performance, high-collaboration culture Equal Employment Opportunity Good Inside is an equal opportunity employer and as such, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws. We are dedicated to growing a diverse team of highly talented people. We’re dedicated to building a workplace where we give each other the strategies, support, and space we each need to thrive—believing in and bringing out the good inside of everyone. If you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, whether it be alternate forms of material, accessible meeting rooms, etc., please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs.
