Jalasoft is seeking a Mid Senior Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Typescript and Playwright to join our quality assurance team. • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks • Perform functional and regression testing • Improve QA processes and standards • Mentor junior QA team members • Help drive a culture of quality across the organisation • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for browser-based applications • Build scalable regression testing processes • Improve test coverage and testing efficiency • Contribute to automation framework improvements • Execute functional, regression, integration, and user workflow testing • Identify, document, and track defects clearly • Validate bug fixes and product enhancements • Ensure high-quality releases across multiple MedNext products • Perform API testing and validation • Validate integrations between system components • Assist with database validation and data integrity checks • Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and DevOps teams • Participate in sprint planning, feature reviews, and release activities • Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and processes

• Design clear and maintainable test plans and regression suites. • Develop automated tests utilizing Playwright or comparable frameworks. • Conduct testing on APIs, backend workflows, asynchronous jobs, integrations, and frontend processes. • Validate correctness through UI checks, API responses, logs, database records, and command-line tools. • Identify edge cases, race conditions, data inconsistencies, and performance-related risks. • Collaborate with engineers to define acceptance criteria and enhance testability. • Employ AI tools to assist in generating test scenarios, automating repetitive QA tasks, and analyzing failures. • Report bugs with precision, including reproduction steps, expected behavior, actual behavior, and supporting evidence.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python • Build and execute automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver for web applications • Implement and maintain test frameworks following best practices such as Page Object Model (POM) using PyTest and/or unitTest • Develop and execute API automation tests to validate backend services and integrations • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Azure Pipelines • Manage test execution, defects, and reporting within Azure DevOps (ADO) • Create, maintain, and track test cases using Xray for test management • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to build quality into every stage of the SDLC • Perform code reviews for automation scripts and ensure maintainability and scalability of test assets • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and proactively highlight quality risks • Continuously improve automation coverage, execution speed, and reliability
