Field Engineer
Hidden Level
• Perform site surveys and technical assessments to prepare for new installations and capability demonstrations. • Execute deployments of Hidden Level sensor networks and supporting infrastructure. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in the field. • Provide field support for customer demonstrations ensuring reliable system performance and clear communication of technical capabilities. • Coordinate logistics for field activities, including equipment preparation, transport, and setup. • Document field work, test results, and issues encountered; contribute to improving processes, procedures, and documentation. • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to improve product reliability and deployment efficiency. • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including customer-facing troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4+ years of experience in field engineering, technical support, or systems deployment role
- Experience troubleshooting integrated hardware and software systems in real-world environments
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP networking, routers, switches, basic configuration)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and system diagrams
- Experience with command-line interfaces for system configuration and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
- Active secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance within 6 months of employment
