• Partner with the sales team and provide technical leadership to help customers understand how Databricks can help solve their business problems. • Consult on Big Data architectures, implement proof of concepts for strategic projects, spanning data engineering, data science and machine learning, and SQL analysis workflows. • Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects, using your skills to support each other and users. • Become an expert in, promote, and recruit contributors for Databricks inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow) across the developer community.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years in a data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role
- Experience building distributed data systems
- Comfortable programming in and debugging Python and SQL
- Have built solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Expertise in one of the following:
- Data Engineering technologies (Ex: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
- Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (Ex: pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow)
- Available to travel to customers in your region
- [Desired] Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research)
- Nice to have: Databricks Certification

Role Description As a Delivery Leader based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), you’ll work closely with governments to design and implement strategies that deliver on policy commitments. We are currently seeking an experienced consultant to support a health-focused engagement in the DRC. This is a short-term consulting engagement of approximately six months. - Drive Results-Oriented Client Engagements - Build trust-based relationships with partner organizations, government clients, and stakeholders to deliver shared goals. - Provide coaching and guidance to client teams, enabling them to achieve tangible, measurable results. - Collaborate with local governments and partners to facilitate effective relationship-building, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing. - Lead Data-Driven Problem-Solving - Conduct data collection and analysis to extract insights, identify critical issues, and develop robust, actionable recommendations. - Simplify complex challenges and design effective strategies to address them. - Plan and Execute Strategic Delivery - Design, sequence, and implement prioritized reforms aligned with government strategy, driving delivery with urgency and optimism. - Facilitate interactive workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring smooth execution and alignment on project goals. - Develop High-Impact Communication Materials - Craft compelling, high-quality presentations, reports, and other communication materials for clients and internal leadership. - Translate project insights into clear, actionable deliverables to support decision-making and progress tracking. - Build Capacity for Sustainable Delivery - Lead training sessions, workshops, and feedback sessions to enhance delivery capabilities across client teams and sectors. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration within the client and Delivery Associates teams.
