• Own the day-to-day development and performance of junior accountants — coaching, training, and giving direct feedback as a first response, not a last resort • Conduct regular check-ins focused on growth, not just task status • Identify skill gaps early and address them proactively through training and direct conversation • Handle difficult performance conversations directly and promptly — healthy conflict is a normal part of Brigade's culture • Support onboarding of new team members as the firm grows • Review and oversee full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of US-based SMB clients • Manage month-end and quarterly close processes with accuracy and consistency • Act as the primary escalation point for complex accounting issues and client questions • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive, clear communication • Review junior team members' work before client delivery

• Record a short video demonstrating a series of facial expressions and emotional reactions • Follow in-app prompts and record the full sequence of required expressions and reactions • Ensure videos meet the project's quality standards

• Accurately code and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online • Deliver weekly bookkeeping updates for 20–30 clients • Maintain real-time accuracy (clients frequently review books live) • Support month-end close using internal workflows • Perform self-review of financials before supervisor review • Work across full-cycle bookkeeping (not limited to AP/AR) • Communicate with clients to resolve uncategorized transactions and questions • Over time, assist with or present financial information to clients

• Own the retailer pipeline: prospect, pitch, close, and manage accounts across natural chains and select conventional retailers • Manage our broker and distributor relationships • Set targets, run cadence, hold them accountable as an extension of our team • Lead retailer review cycles end-to-end — prep, pitch, follow-up, close • Own velocity analysis and retailer reporting • Translate weekly syndicated data into action • Set and enforce placement policy, free-fill rules, and trade spend guardrails • Build the sales infrastructure: pitch decks, one-pagers, deal sheets, broker briefs, review materials • Coordinate with Operations on the demo program, sampling, and field activation • Represent The Cycle at trade shows

• Follow up with courts, the IRS, and third parties on case statuses and filings • Coordinate real estate closings and transaction-related tasks • Organize and track documents, deadlines, and case files • Handle client communication via email and WhatsApp with professionalism • Support Natalia with scheduling, research, and whatever else comes up • Keep things moving without being asked twice

• Own full-cycle accounting operations across a portfolio of U.S.-based SMB clients, managing up to 30 accounts with high accuracy and consistency • Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reviews, reconciliations, and reporting • Analyze financial data, identify trends and variances, and confidently present insights to clients during recurring meetings • Review and oversee accounting workflows completed by junior team members, providing guidance, delegation, and quality control • Act as a key escalation point for complex accounting issues, client requests, and accounting clean-up projects • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and high-quality service • Drive operational excellence by improving workflows, supporting system adoption, and maintaining internal process standards

• Design and build a suite of internal AI agents that integrate across the company's VoIP/CRM system, Telegram, and email. • Build on top of low-code / no-code AI frameworks such as Wordware, Relevance AI. • Maintain clean API documentation and ensure all integrations are robust and recoverable. • Support minor front-end work on the existing WordPress + Cloudflare site as needed. • Own the full technical architecture — there is no existing tech lead.
