Job Description
Copywriter – Native English
BURGA
• Execute copy briefs across all brand channels and assets, packaging, product descriptions, performance ads, email campaigns, making sure every word earns its place. • Bring ideas to the table proactively. A great brief is a starting point, not a ceiling. • Be a guardian of the BURGA tone of voice. If it sounds like it could belong to anyone else, it's not ready. • Partner with the creative, design, and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life with copy that works as hard as the visuals. • Write performance-driven copy that converts, hooks, CTAs, ad headlines, without ever sacrificing the brand's voice for a cheap click. • Stay close to our customers: what they want, how they talk, what makes them stop and pay attention. • Stay sharp on trends in culture, fashion, and advertising, and bring that intelligence into every brief.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of copywriting experience, whether in an agency, in-house team, or on the brand side.
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or a fast-moving D2C brand is a strong advantage.
- Native-level English with exceptional writing skills, strong attention to detail, and sharp creative instincts.
- A solid understanding of copywriting principles, customer psychology, and the role research plays in creating effective copy.
- An appreciation for both sides of the craft: building distinctive brand voices and creating performance-driven copy that delivers results.
- The ability to think beyond the line itself, considering the strategy, customer behaviour, and business objectives behind every piece of work.
- A portfolio that demonstrates range across brand and performance copy, ideally showcasing both.
- A proactive, reliable, and direct approach to work, combined with the ability to ask thoughtful questions, take initiative, and elevate the quality of work around them.
- A genuine interest in fashion, culture, and evolving consumer trends.
- A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to identify opportunities, improve briefs, and contribute beyond the original scope to achieve better outcomes.
