People & Operations Manager

Boogie Team

• Manage day-to-day operations of active virtual assistants after placement, including performance, attendance, communication, and accountability • Conduct regular check-ins with virtual assistants to ensure expectations are clear, issues are addressed, and support is provided when needed • Support client communication, satisfaction, and retention by helping maintain strong relationships and consistent follow-through • Coordinate onboarding, agreements, schedules, operational setup, payroll coordination, and internal tracking • Handle operational issues, escalations, replacements, workflow bottlenecks, and other moving parts with professionalism and urgency • Maintain SOPs, internal systems, documentation, reports, and operational organization across the company • Work closely with leadership to improve execution, structure, accountability, and overall operational efficiency

Job Requirements

  • Experience in staffing, outsourcing, BPO, customer success, agency operations, HR operations, or remote workforce management
  • Strong people management, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in a remote work environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and comfortable handling escalations or operational challenges
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
  • Comfortable working with internal systems, trackers, communication tools, and operational processes
  • Experience managing remote teams, virtual assistants, or international staff is preferred
  • Background in recruitment, staffing operations, client success, or workforce coordination is preferred
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, Notion, Airtable, CRM systems, payroll trackers, or similar platforms is preferred
  • Experience supporting client accounts, team performance, onboarding, and retention is preferred
  • Ability to improve SOPs, build structure, and create smoother workflows as the company grows

Travel requirements: - 5% GTA Work schedule: - 37.5hrs per week Salary and Benefits: The expected base salary range for this position is $64 600 to $80 750 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 6% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
