• Act as a trusted People Partner for Loopers in the India Hub, working closely with leaders and employees to drive engagement, development and retention. • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace by implementing engagement strategies, championing company culture and leading local employee experience initiatives. • Support managers in coaching, feedback and performance conversations while helping employees navigate career growth opportunities. • Ensure People policies, compensation, and benefits align with local labor laws and company practices. Collaborate with legal and finance teams as needed. • Partner with leaders on organizational changes, team effectiveness, and continuous improvement. • Support the rollout of global People programs in India, such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination (Deel), and compliance. • Provide guidance to employees and managers on workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and best practices in alignment with Loopio values. • Support local in-person events, team gatherings and celebrations that strengthen Loopio’s culture in India • Oversee partnerships with coworking spaces and manage vendor relationships to ensure remote employees have the necessary workspace and resources

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a HR Generalist/People Partner role, ideally within SaaS
  • Strong understanding of India labour laws, payroll processes, taxation and statutory compliance
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Proven ability to build trust with employees and leaders, balance business objectives with employee needs
  • Hands-on experience with employee relations, performance management and engagement strategies
  • Comfortable supporting managers through feedback, performance, and employee relations conversations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing office operations and logistics
  • Ability to work independently with staying connected with the global People team
  • Passionate about fostering an inclusive, high performing culture.
  • Experience supporting remote-first or distributed teams is considered an asset.
