Role Description Holitna is an Alaska Native Owned, 8(a), SDB in search of an Estimator to support our Federal Government Initial Outfitting bid response team. The Estimator will assist in the development of proposal preparation to include: - Preparation of itemized pricing - Technical write-ups - In-depth MS Excel work - Vendor coordination Must be able to meet critical deadlines and have a strong sense of personal initiative. Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times. Qualifications - 4-Year degree is preferred, and/or 10 years relevant work experience may be accepted. - Advanced skills in MS Excel are preferred; basic Excel skills are required. - Proficiency in general computing skills is required; MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat are most frequently used. - Experience with Federal Government contracts regulated by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) is preferred. - Experience with pricing commercial furniture, fixtures, and equipment is preferred. - Experience developing original written proposal content is desirable. - Database/Access experience is desirable. - Familiarity with the MIL-1691/JSN’s is desirable. - Understanding of federal procurement and order fulfillment process is desirable. - Some travel will be required. - Must be able to pass Federal background check to gain access to DoD job locations.
