• The Manager, Business Intelligence leads and develops a team of Commercial analysts responsible for delivering high-quality reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights that support business decision-making. • Demonstrate strong project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple analytics initiatives simultaneously. • Ensure timely, high quality delivery of dashboards, reports, and analyses aligned to business priorities. • Balance hands on analytical work with team oversight, stepping in to solve complex business problems and guide analytical approaches. • Apply structured problem solving to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, data driven insights. • Partner with cross functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analytics requirements. • Ensure outputs are relevant, actionable, and directly tied to business value creation. • Strong proficiency in data analysis, including advanced Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Ability to design intuitive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to technical and non technical audiences. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics outputs. • Promote best practices in data governance, definitions, and standardization. • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale reporting and analytics processes. • Drive efficiencies that reduce manual effort and improve consistency. • Consistently deliver insights that drive measurable business outcomes and inform decision making. • Communicate findings clearly through executive ready summaries and recommendations. • Establish and enforce standard processes, documentation, and governance for analytics delivery. • Monitor performance and continuously improve team output and impact. • Effectively lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Intelligence analysts, fostering a high performance, accountable, and collaborative culture. • Provide clear direction, prioritize workloads, and support career growth through mentoring and skill development. • Build team capabilities in data management, analytical methodologies, storytelling, and business partnering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
- Highly effective communicator with strong storytelling and data visualization skills, able to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling messages for business leaders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive execution across diverse stakeholder groups to support business objectives.
- Strong understanding of commercial operations, market dynamics, and CRO/life sciences business models, with the ability to apply industry knowledge to business decisions.
- Strong ability to align business priorities with technical solutions, translating business needs into practical analytical approaches and execution plans.
- Self-directed and collaborative, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and analytical detail while driving clarity, alignment, and results.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire, with the ability to apply these tools to solve business problems and generate actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, Power Query, automation, and modeling, used to support analysis, scenario planning, and decision-making.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms, using system capabilities and commercial data to support pipeline visibility, opportunity management, and business decisions.
