Engineer, BESS & Renewable Performance
TerraGen Solar
• Evaluate and quantify the performance of operating projects in Terra-Gen portfolio. • Build and utilize tools to assess and report on plant performance. • Interface with Operations, Asset Management, Finance, and Development teams. • Develop and implement tools/models to evaluate, monitor, and report on performance KPI’s across the Terra-Gen portfolio. • Oversee the resolution process to correct performance engineering issues. • Support Terra-Gen O&M teams, providing actionable items and gathering feedback from the field. • Work closely with TG development and engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Engineering oriented degree with 5-10+ years of experience in performance engineering, asset management, or resource assessment of renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with various 3rd party SCADA systems and direct experience working with and managing large sets of raw SCADA data.
- Ability to independently undertake advance modelling across multiple applications (Excel, Python, SQL, etc).
- Experience with utility scale battery energy storage systems.
