Data Migration Functional Lead

• Lead and execute SAP Data Migration activities for enterprise transformation projects. • Work extensively on Material Master, Purchase Orders, Outline Agreements, BOM, Routing, and Contracts data objects. • Perform data extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities. • Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to define migration requirements and data standards. • Support migration strategy, mock loads, cutover planning, and go-live activities. • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle. • Conduct functional validations and support issue resolution during testing and deployment phases. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and master data management teams. • Create migration documentation, mapping sheets, SOPs, and status reports. • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP functional and Data Migration experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in: Material Master, Purchase Orders, Outline Agreements, BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing, Contracts
- Experience working on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data processes.
- Experience with Data Migration tools such as LSMW, Migration Cockpit, BODS, or other ETL tools.
- Deep functional expertise in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Master Data processes.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead workshops, resolve issues, and drive execution independently.
- Experience working in global delivery and remote environments.
- Prior experience leading Data Migration workstreams or teams (preferred).
- Experience with large-scale ERP implementation or transformation projects (preferred).
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks (preferred).
- SAP Certification is a plus (preferred).
