Marketing Operations & Social Media Coordinator

Role Description We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and digitally savvy Marketing Operations & Social Media Coordinator to support our central marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy environments, managing multiple stakeholders, keeping projects moving, and ensuring marketing plans are executed on time and to a high standard. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager, venue teams, designers, and suppliers to coordinate campaigns, manage content calendars, maintain digital assets, support social media activity, and help drive marketing initiatives across more than 20 hospitality venues. This is not a pure social media role. Success in this position comes from being organized, detail-oriented, curious, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: - Marketing Coordination & Project Management - Assist with planning and coordinating venue marketing campaigns, promotions and events. - Maintain campaign timelines and marketing calendars across multiple venues. - Follow up with venue managers to ensure deadlines, content requests and approvals are met. - Coordinate artwork requests and manage marketing workflows between venues and the design team. - Maintain marketing trackers, project plans and reporting documents. - Assist with promotional planning for key sporting events, seasonal campaigns and supplier partnerships. - Social Media Support - Create and maintain content calendars across multiple venue brands. - Schedule and publish social media content. - Assist with community management and customer engagement. - Source, organise and manage venue content including photography and video assets. - Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Google Business Profile & Digital Presence - Manage and update Google Business Profiles across the venue portfolio. - Update trading hours, events, promotions, menus and venue information. - Monitor reviews and support venue teams with response management. - Conduct regular audits to ensure listings remain accurate and optimised. - Marketing Administration - Coordinate marketing asset libraries and digital filing systems. - Assist with supplier marketing activations and promotional programs. - Support venue websites with content updates and event listings. - Assist with PR administration, media lists and community engagement opportunities. - Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. - Design & Content Support - Create simple marketing collateral using Canva and Adobe tools. - Adapt existing creative assets for social media, digital screens, POS and promotional use. - Assist the internal design team with production tasks and asset preparation. - Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials. - Reporting & Insights - Track campaign performance, social engagement and venue activity. - Monitor competitor activity and industry trends. - Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency. - AI, Automation & Process Improvement - Use AI tools to improve productivity, content creation and reporting workflows. - Identify repetitive manual tasks that can be automated. - Assist in developing marketing processes, templates and standard operating procedures. - Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency across the marketing function. - Stay informed on emerging AI, digital marketing and hospitality technology trends. Qualifications - 3+ years experience in marketing, social media, digital marketing or project coordination. - Exceptional organisational and time management skills. - Strong written English and communication skills. - Experience using Canva and social media management platforms. - High attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. - Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence following up team members for actions and approvals. Requirements - Hospitality, pub, hotel, tourism or multi-location retail experience. - Experience managing Google Business Profiles. - Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com or Trello. - Basic graphic design skills. - Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms. - Experience building automations using tools such as Zapier, Make, or equivalent. Description The Assistant Manager, Social Media - Cadillac Motorsports and F1 will lead day-to-day social strategy and execution for all F1-related content within the Cadillac social ecosystem , operating as the control tower across channels, partners, and markets. This role connects strategy to execution around the F1 calendar, ensuring Cadillac shows up in social media in a cohesive, timely, and culturally relevant way that reflects the brand's ambition and standards, and will flex across content and social strategies for both the Cadillac parent brand and Cadillac Racing brand channels. This position reports to the Motorsports Social Media Strategy Manager. Key Responsibilities; Formula 1 Social Strategy & Content Planning - Support the evergreen and tentpole F1 social media strategy for Cadillac Brand and Motorsports, translating brand and F1 objectives into clear content roadmaps across channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms). - Build and maintain season-long program maps tied to the F1 calendar (major races, tentpoles, partnership moments, product integrations) in partnership with Cadillac's overall social strategy and with Cadillac motorsports leads. - Define and evolve always-on content pillars and formats (evergreen storytelling, product education, cultural and race-adjacent content) that drive reach, engagement, and brand love for Cadillac through Formula 1.
