Role Description As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the sales function by ensuring the efficient execution of sales administration, quoting, and customer communication activities. You will work closely with Sales, Service, and Procurement teams to deliver a seamless experience for both contracted and non-contracted customers. This role is central to enabling revenue growth by maintaining accurate systems, generating timely and accurate quotes, and supporting transactional renewals across hardware, software, and licensing. You will ensure all sales operations run smoothly, allowing Account Managers and Sales teams to focus on strategic customer engagement and growth. Key Responsibilities - Sales Operations & Administration - Manage day-to-day sales administration tasks to support the wider Sales team - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM and internal systems - Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness - Quoting & Renewals - Generate and issue quotes for hardware, software, and licensing requests - Manage renewal of transactional items, ensuring timely engagement with customers - Liaise with suppliers and procurement to obtain competitive pricing - Customer Communication - Act as a key point of contact for non-contracted customers, handling inbound enquiries - Provide timely and professional responses to sales queries and requests - Order Management & Delivery Support - Process approved quotes and ensure robust handover to procurement and delivery teams - Support the coordination of hardware, software, and licensing delivery on transactional orders - Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Work cross-functionally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Finance, and Service teams - Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience - Support wider sales initiatives and projects as required Qualifications - Experience in a sales support, sales administration, or similar operational role - Experience working within IT Managed Services or a technology-focused environment (preferred) - Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks - Experience generating quotes and managing order processing workflows - Customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable working with CRM systems (Autotask) and Microsoft Office tools - High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity Attributes - Highly organised and proactive, with a strong attention to detail - Team player who works collaboratively across departments - Positive, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Customer-centric approach, focused on delivering a high-quality experience - Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to completion Desirable - Experience supporting sales teams within a managed services or MSP environment - Familiarity with IT products such as cloud services, licensing, hardware, and security solutions - Exposure to sales processes including quoting, renewals, and order fulfilment
