Implementation Engineer

Role Description At AeroCloud we provide software solutions that help airports, airlines, ground handlers and other companies operating in airports to improve operations and flights and passenger processing. As an Implementation Engineer you will be responsible for installing, configuring and commissioning AeroCloud products in airport environments across US and other territories. You will work side-by-side with Project Managers to deliver projects to scope, budget and timeline, representing AeroCloud on site as the technical lead. The role is delivery focused – from pre-install planning, testing to on-site deployment, customer training and short-term post go live hyper care before handing over to the Support team. Responsibilities - Managing the successful implementation including on-site hyper care immediately after go-live to AeroCloud and our customer’s expectations, escalating and resolving delivery issues as required in close co-ordination with your Project Manager. - Deliver onsite product training to airport IT employees, covering operations, basic troubleshooting and maintenance best practices. - Regular and transparent reporting on the progress of implementations and deployments to the project team. - Follow change management processes and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Assisting to update and maintain knowledge base by creating or updating documentation, guides, and lessons learned after projects. - Assist with the deployment of software updates and patching. - Image and configure OCs, servers and other hardware equipment during installations. - The duties and responsibilities of the role may vary and change depending on the AeroCloud business needs. There will also be growth opportunities for the right candidates. Qualifications - At least 2 years' experience delivering hardware installations within airport environments. - Familiarity with SaaS deployments in operational environments. - Comfortable delivering multiple product installations in parallel projects and adapting to different airport environments. - Experience with common use installations would be advantageous. - A customer first approach is a must and is equally as important as technical skills. - Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability. - Confidence working in live operational environments under time pressure. - A self-starter approach with the ability to take ownership of installations end to end. - Strong working knowledge of Windows-based machines. - Experience managing domain equipment using Active Directory and managing Windows Server components. - Experience with Networking, Installation and configuration of network switches, firewall configuration, switch configuration - VLANs, IP Routing, and diagnostics of end user devices. - Experience with USB and Serial connected devices would be advantageous. - Cloud infrastructure experience with Azure and AWS would also be advantageous. - Experience with airport/airline software is desirable.
