Job Description

Senior Director, Medical Affairs – Movement Disorders Lead

Praxis

• Define and execute the Medical Affairs strategy for Movement Disorder therapeutic area. • Lead Medical Affairs enabling functions including operational execution, vendor oversight, and budget management. • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and advocacy organizations. • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. • Develop and execute Medical Affairs plans including publication planning and educational programs. • Oversee external vendors for timely execution.

Job Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MD or DO) with 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs and/or clinical research; Neurologist preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Research with a consistent record of high performance.
  • Strong people leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to organize and lead scientific advisory panels.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. regulations governing Medical Affairs activities.
  • High intellectual curiosity with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to lead by example and develop talent.
