Role Description This position is for a Java Developer who will support implementation of Okta authentication for multiple applications and systems on the ESA V program. ESA V is an IT applications and infrastructure services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ), including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The program provides a range of IT services, including: - Software application support - Enterprise infrastructure support - Service desk - ITSM - Deskside support - Workstation engineering and maintenance - Telecommunications and mobility engineering services - Managed print services - Active Directory services - Video conferencing The program has a DevOps team which provides software development and operations and maintenance support for a variety of ATF software systems and custom software applications; these needs are growing, and we are expanding this team. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate system requirements with technical resources, project managers, and customers at various levels. Responsibilities will include: - Developing solutions to modify systems and applications to use Okta authentication - Depth of technical knowledge and understanding through discussions with the technical team This position is 100% remote and requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; this position also offers the ability for significant virtual support. Excellent communication skills are required to interact with the customer and program team. This position is contingent on receipt of required clearance from the Government customer. Required Clearance: Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. US Citizenship is required. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field with 8+ years of related experience.
