Role Description This Quality Engineering role reports to the VP of Quality and is responsible for maintaining and improving compliance of the Quality Management System used at Beacon Biosignals worldwide. The position will be located in the US, preferably in or near a Beacon hub (Boston or New York). What success looks like: - Support of a 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 compliant quality management system (QMS) including drafting, revising, reviewing and approving procedures. - Work with internal stakeholders on the qualification and approval of suppliers. - Work with suppliers to address changes, nonconformances, and implement corrective actions, as necessary. - Perform supplier qualification activities, including evaluations and audits. - Maintain QMS processes in compliance as assigned by QA leadership including but not limited to nonconformity management, CAPA management, deviation management, employee training. - Maintain CAPAs and Corrections in compliance with respect to due dates, ensuring tasks are completed on time and items are recorded appropriately by responsible personnel. - Ensure company is compliant with training completion and on time training completion by following up with personnel who are not compliant. - Ensure deviations are opened and closed in a timely manner and documentation is compliant. - Improve processes for compliance, implementing the least burdensome approach. - Manage scheduling, coordination, and meetings for audits with external parties and internal Subject Matter Experts. - Manage audit results/reports, and any actions that arise from audits. - Manage all tasks related to customer and external audits. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific/technical field such as Biomedical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or equivalent. - 5 years experience in a regulated industry. - 5+ years quality management experience in a regulated environment following ISO 13485:2016 and 21CFR Part 820. - Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS). - Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Software Quality Engineer desired, but not required. - Experience auditing and being audited. - Proven ability to work autonomously with hands-on problem solving expertise and strong analytical skills. - Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for managing projects and guiding decisions across multiple internal and external stakeholders. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to adapt effectively to changing circumstances. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on risk. - Strong team player, as this position interacts with every Beaconeer. • Pick up the existing automation framework, extend it to under-covered surfaces, and harden it for a higher-velocity merge environment • Push automated coverage on critical paths (policy gates, audit trail, RBAC, lineage, data connectors) toward 100%, and hold the line as merge velocity climbs • Drive customer-reported defects on compliance-critical surfaces toward zero • Build an LLM-assisted test pipeline that matches AI-accelerated development with AI-accelerated testing • Make quality posture visible to leadership through a living risk and coverage map both teams own

• Direct and manage the entire QA testing protocol from early game design to final release, including black box/functional, regression, and end-phase testing. • Attend planning and sprint meetings as the QA representative, actively listening for scope, features, or changes that require testing coverage or dedicated QA development effort, and advocating for QA needs before they become blockers. • Liaise closely with the development and creative teams to facilitate communication and address issues promptly. • Guide QA testers in their daily tasks and project goals. • Oversee daily smoke tests and performance checks across all game versions and platforms. • Ensure defects are reported and tracked systematically. • Develop, enhance, and maintain detailed test cases and scripts to cover all aspects of game quality, including functionality, performance, and user experience. • Identify, analyze, and report issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvements in the game’s design, functionality, and performance. • Lead titles through crucial phases of submission testing, ensuring that every game version meets the highest quality standards before public release. • Collaborate integrating player and team feedback to enhance game quality and player satisfaction. • Own the assigned project end to end, maintaining awareness of the timeline and ensuring QA needs are represented at every stage. • Formulate clear, structured test plans and communicate them to the team, including timelines, priorities, and ownership. • Delegate tasks across the QA team and any outsourced QA resources, track progress, and make sure priorities are understood and followed throughout the build cycle. • Identify patterns in defect data and team workflows, surface them to relevant stakeholders, and propose concrete solutions including process changes, tooling improvements, or preventive testing strategies. • Bring forward ideas to improve QA practices at Aesir over time, including future-looking solutions. • Stay current with QA tooling and AI-assisted testing tools, applying them where they genuinely improve efficiency or coverage.
