Role Description The ideal candidate will be well-versed in writing, proofreading and effective communication. The role will help maintain consistent brand standards, review material for grammar and ensure content meets editorial guidelines. They should be detail-oriented and have a full understanding of the English & Spanish language along with being a self-starter, adaptable and collaborative. - Review documents for grammar, spelling and style. - Proofread concepts, proofs and final deliverables to ensure they are accurate, error-free and consistent with brand guidelines. - Maintain brand consistency and adhere to company style and brand guidelines across all marketing materials and client brands. - Identify and correct inconsistencies in tone, style and voice. - Understand SEO copywriting strategies to help optimize content for search engines, ensuring higher organic traffic and improved conversion rates. - Assist in writing compelling and engaging content for a variety of formats, such as print, digital, social, web, CTAs, alt text, etc. that supports the overall concept and goal. - Collaborate effectively with various team members to align content with overall marketing and member experience strategies and deliver cohesive campaigns. - Monitor and help maintain content across all business lines to drive consistency. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism, business or a related field. - 4+ years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work. - 5+ years of related experience in communications, content creation or similar roles. - Familiar with Associated Press and other style guides along with Merriam-Webster dictionary. - Prior experience in an agency or health care environment is a plus, but not required. - Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, including reading and writing. Requirements - Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to vary voice, style and messaging based on the target audience. - Excellent understanding of the English & Spanish language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax. - Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability and strong project management skills with proven ability to work effectively across departments. - Highly motivated, hardworking and ability to work independently in a primarily remote environment and travel as business needs require (minimal travel expected). - Familiarity with digital communication channels, strategies and tactics preferred (including but not limited to SEO, SEM, websites, mobile, social media, reputation management or display advertising). - Proficiency in content management systems and relevant tools (e.g., LinkedIn, G-Suite, Microsoft Office). Experience with Brandfolder, Jira, Google Analytics and project management tools (e.g., Workfront, ClickUp or Asana) preferred, not required.
