German Insurance Agent

CBT

• Be the first point of contact for German-speaking customers • Handle inquiries via phone and email in German • Process insurance claims and resolve customer issues efficiently • Escalate complex cases following internal procedures • Process new vehicle insurance applications • Manage contract changes, conversions, and terminations • Handle general correspondence and documentation • Perform accurate contract logging • Process address changes, account updates, and SEPA mandates • Ensure timely handling of incoming documents • Provide insurance advice and prepare tailored offers • Cross-sell additional insurance products • Support customer onboarding • Schedule pension consultation appointments

Job Requirements

  • Fluent German (C1+ level)
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to simplify complex insurance topics
  • Problem-solving mindset with focus on first-time resolution
  • High attention to detail (especially in data entry & documentation)
  • Ability to multitask across systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident PC user (Windows, CRM systems, MS Office)
  • Typing speed 25 WPM with 85% accuracy
  • Minimum high school diploma

Qualifications - Deep Motor Insurance Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of policy wordings, underwriting rules, and the trading environment. - Product Management Experience: Proven ability to manage the insurance product lifecycle and define strategy. - Governance Expertise: A strong grasp of financial services regulations, including Fair Value Assessments and Product Reviews. - Technical Acumen: Experience working with Product/Engineering squads to translate insurance concepts into technical requirements. - Insurer Relations Management: Experience negotiating with and managing third-party insurers or reinsurers. - FOS Knowledge: In-depth experience with the Financial Ombudsman Service complaint and dispute process. - Data Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting sales, claims, and financial data to inform strategy.
