Competition Analyst
Manulife
• Proactively develop, deliver, and communicate competitive case design strategies • Engage with sales team on application pipeline to optimize sales opportunities • Monitor competitive illustration requests and recommend actions to drive sales • Stay updated on competitor actions and provide commentary • Provide in-person illustration and case design support • Create material for “Competition Corners” and host calls with Distribution team • Ensure competition is represented accurately during product development process • Ongoing training & education with emphasis on case design expertise
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in life and annuity Product, Competitive Services and/or Sales
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven success delivering effective life insurance and annuity product messages
- A deep understanding of the IMO life and annuity marketplace and product design and mechanics
- An understanding of John Hancock Life Insurance’s product mechanics and distribution strategy
- Life and annuity product & case design expertise
- High-level critical-thinking and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to interpret & understand any illustration, regardless of product line or carrier.
