• Apply independence and creativity to drive project design scope and deliverables • Develop Functional Design Specifications • Circuit design: Digital, Analog, and Power • PCIe, DDR, Microprocessor, DSP, etc. • I2C, SPI, PCIe, DDR3+, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, etc. • Analog/RF experience is a plus • BLE and/or WiFi experience a plus • Schematic Capture and Layout Review/Guidance/Management • Pre&Post Signal and Power Integrity analysis (optional) • FPGA and CPLD design (Verilog, VHDL) • FPGA test benches and verification (ModelSim, Xilinx, Altera, etc.) • Develop test plans/methods to ensure product reliability and performance targets are met • Prototype bring up and system integration • Working knowledge of EMC/CE/UL compliance requirements • Software and Firmware development
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Expert user of one or more of the following tools: Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium and Xpedition-DxDesigner
- Application of formal project management and system engineering methodologies to development of complex, high performance electronics systems
- Work history in aerospace/defense market a plus
