Role Description We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC design experience to support the delivery of residential and commercial building projects. The role will focus on end-to-end mechanical HVAC design work, including system design, documentation, and coordination with construction teams to ensure accurate and buildable project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare HVAC mechanical designs and system layouts for heating, cooling, and ventilation systems - Develop detailed duct layouts, duct plans, and coordinated shop drawings for construction - Produce and review mechanical construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements - Perform HVAC load calculations and support system sizing and design validation - Assist in project coordination with internal teams, consultants, and site personnel - Support estimating activities and prepare technical documentation for project delivery - Ensure all mechanical designs align with construction feasibility and project timelines Qualifications - Proven experience in HVAC mechanical design, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems - Strong capability in duct design, duct layout planning, and shop drawing production - Experience with HVAC load calculations and mechanical system sizing - Familiarity with mechanical construction documentation and coordination processes - Knowledge of Australian Standards and Building Codes (preferred) - Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in technical drafting and documentation - Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with project teams - Strong communication skills and proactive approach to problem-solving Requirements - Looking for Philippines-based candidates - Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly - Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement - Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 7 AM - 4 PM AEST, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. • Lead end‑to‑end UX for ViDA’s data applications and dashboards, including user research, information architecture, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing. • Engage directly with users—clinical engineers, medical physicists, service teams, and internal stakeholders—to understand real workflows, constraints, vocabulary, and cognitive load. • Translate complex telemetry streams and AI model outputs into interfaces that prioritise clarity, density management, and rapid decision‑making. • Apply strong information‑design principles to data visualisation, including chart selection, hierarchy, colour usage, annotations, accessibility, and thoughtful handling of empty, error, and loading states. • Design and build production frontend applications using modern web technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and component libraries (e.g., shadcn/ui), moving fluidly between design tools and code. • Design BI dashboards with the same UX rigour and product mindset applied to custom web applications. • Own and evolve ViDA’s design system and shared component library to ensure consistency and scalability across data products. • Partner closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and analytics engineers to turn raw use cases into shipped, adopted products (not prototypes). • Own a meaningful portion of the application lifecycle, including scoping, design, implementation, deployment, observability, and continuous improvement. • Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, v0) where appropriate, applying judgement to maximise quality and productivity. • Mobile app knowledge (required): contribute to mobile app UX and/or mobile‑first workflows (e.g., field/service experiences), bringing strong understanding of mobile interaction patterns and constraints.

• Design and develop large-scale mechanical systems for water infrastructure projects • Create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit or other mechanical design software for use in design drawings • Size and select hoists, actuators and associated waterworks mechanical systems • Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and mechanical performance according to industry standards and specifications • Review and approve engineering drawings and vendor submittals • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Civil, Structural, and Electrical Engineers • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation • Support proposal development by providing technical input • Ability to travel a few times a year for site visits and meetings with clients
