Role Description Our client, a growing educational and professional development organization, is seeking an experienced Tech / IT Recruiting Talent Acquisition Instructor to teach and mentor students on modern technology recruitment strategies, talent sourcing techniques, and best practices in IT talent acquisition. This role is ideal for an experienced tech recruiter or talent acquisition professional who is passionate about teaching and sharing practical industry knowledge with aspiring recruiters and HR professionals interested in technology hiring. - Deliver engaging training sessions on Tech and IT recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and talent acquisition best practices. - Teach students how to identify, attract, screen, and recruit technology professionals across different technical roles. - Guide students on recruitment lifecycle management, candidate engagement, and hiring processes. - Share practical experiences, case studies, and real-world insights from technology recruitment environments. - Train students on sourcing techniques using LinkedIn, job boards, social media, Boolean search, and recruitment platforms. - Teach students how to evaluate technical candidates, review tech resumes, and conduct initial candidate screenings. - Develop instructional materials, presentations, exercises, and practical recruitment assignments. - Mentor students on recruitment communication, stakeholder management, and employer branding. - Conduct mock interviews, sourcing exercises, and practical recruitment simulations. - Stay updated on technology hiring trends, recruitment tools, and talent acquisition innovations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communication, Information Technology, or related field preferred. - Minimum of 4–5 years of practical experience in Tech Recruitment, IT Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, or Technical Recruiting roles. - Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle management and technology hiring processes. - Experience sourcing and recruiting for technical roles such as Software Engineers, Data Analysts, DevOps Engineers, Cybersecurity Professionals, Product Managers, or related positions. - Strong knowledge of sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, Boolean search, and online recruitment channels. - Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills. - Ability to teach recruitment concepts clearly and engage students effectively. - Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship management abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual collaboration tools. - Must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada. Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering recruitment training, workshops, or mentoring programs. - Background in agency recruiting, corporate talent acquisition, or global hiring. - Familiarity with remote hiring, technical interviewing, and recruitment analytics. - Professional HR or recruitment certifications are an advantage.
