Role Description To support our business, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager (covering Southern region) as a key addition to our growing North American team. Ideally, you are based out of Southern United States. You will increase business from net new logos and existing customers by identifying and qualifying opportunities, preparing quotations, managing sales processes, closing orders, and managing customer relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Contacting, developing, net new logos and managing existing Datacolor customers to build a sales pipeline and drive revenue in your territory. - Conducting face to face meetings and demonstrations of Datacolor solutions. - Understanding customer needs for accurate color measurement and communication. - Qualifying leads from marketing and developing them into opportunities and ultimately closing sales. - Achieving annual sales target. - Utilizing Salesforce.com to build accurate business forecasts, track metrics, and increase territory productivity. - Working closely with internal teams and Datacolor management to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction. - Road Warrior, travel expectation approx. 60%-70%. First Year Goals Include: - Know all Datacolor hardware and software solutions. - Develop and provide accurate and timely sales plans and forecasts and achieve annual sales target. - Ensure Salesforce.com CRM information is accurate and up to date for pipeline visibility and forecasting. Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. - At least 5 - 8 years of relevant, strategic sales management experience. - Capital Equipment Sales and Industry Experience a plus. - Experience in building territory, growing existing business and developing net new logos. - Excel with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce. Requirements - High energy and innovative self-starters. • Manage a well-established ~$4.5M territory while identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships and increase market share • Work closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to support their business needs • Balance maintaining current business with proactive prospecting and new opportunity development • Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products across residential, agricultural, and commercial markets • Conduct customer education and contractor training programs while supporting contractor pull-through initiatives • Build strong partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams • Manage a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a fast-paced environment • Help customers transition through ongoing product and system integration initiatives following recent operational changes
