Role Description This role is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Smartling is seeking a Contract Localization Project Manager for a remote, work-from-home engagement. This role will support a client-owned localization platform and product UI that is currently under active development. The ideal candidate brings strong localization project management experience combined with deep knowledge of UI localization workflows, linguistic QA, and cross-vendor coordination. As a Localization Project Manager, you will serve as a key operational and strategic partner to the client, helping manage localization workflows, diagnose process and quality issues, and provide guidance on localization best practices for multilingual product interfaces. This role is especially well-suited for someone with experience managing complex UI localization programs within or alongside LSP environments, including collaboration across product, engineering, localization operations, and vendor teams. Experience working directly within evolving or in-development localization tools/platforms — where workflows, features, and processes are actively being refined during day-to-day use — is strongly preferred. You Will: - Manage localization workflows for product UI and platform-related content - Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between client stakeholders, engineering, localization operations, and vendor teams - Identify workflow inefficiencies, quality issues, and operational gaps and recommend improvements - Support localization best practices for multilingual product UI and user experience consistency - Monitor timelines, deliverables, and localization quality across multiple languages and vendors - Partner with stakeholders to help refine localization workflows and operational processes - Provide actionable feedback on platform usability, workflow friction points, and operational scalability - Support LQA management activities, including issue tracking, quality review coordination, and feedback implementation - Help manage cross-vendor communication, alignment, and escalation handling - Review localization processes and recommend scalable workflow improvements - Contribute to glossary, style guide, and linguistic consistency initiatives where needed - Participate in workflow reviews, status meetings, and operational planning discussions - Serve as a thought partner to the client on localization operations and UI localization strategy Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in localization project management or localization operations - Strong experience managing UI/product localization workflows - Experience working within or alongside LSP environments - Experience working in localization tools or operational platforms that are actively evolving during implementation and use - Comfort operating in environments where workflows, tooling, and product functionality may change rapidly - Strong understanding of localization workflows, TMS platforms, and multilingual UI delivery - Experience managing LQA workflows and translation quality processes - Experience coordinating multiple localization vendors and linguist teams - Ability to diagnose operational and workflow issues quickly and effectively - Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Requirements - Organized – you can manage complex workflows and multiple stakeholders effectively - Quality-focused – you care deeply about localization accuracy and user experience consistency - Analytical – you can identify operational gaps and workflow inefficiencies quickly - Collaborative – you work well across client, vendor, and cross-functional teams - Adaptable – you are comfortable working in evolving product environments - Proactive – you anticipate issues and drive solutions forward - Detail-oriented – you notice inconsistencies and process gaps others may miss Benefits - Freedom 🏡 - remote-first flexibility - Impact 🚀 - the opportunity to influence a growing localization product ecosystem - Collaboration 🤝 - close partnership with product, engineering, and localization stakeholders - Flexibility - contract-based engagement structure - Growth 📈 - exposure to evolving localization technology and UI localization best practices

Zantech is looking for a talented Project Manager to contribute to the success of our upcoming Operations and Administrative Support Services project for a Hybrid role based out of Mobile, AL. The Project Manager serves as the single point of contact between the Contractor and the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all work performed. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and quality of all contractor-provided personnel and deliverables in support of the USCG OPC Project Resident Office (PRO). Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: - Provide all activities related to the administration of computerized databases - Serve as the sole point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR on all matters related to contractor performance under this task order. - Maintain availability to the COR via telephone between 0900 and 1700 CST, Monday through Friday, and respond to requests for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 24 hours of notification. - Retrieve weekly performance assessments from each employee and use them to support monthly invoice validation and documentation. - Review and sign off on employee timesheets/timecards, which must be co-signed by the COR or ACOR at the end of each week. - Notify the Contracting Officer and COR no less than 15 business days in advance before replacing any individual, including written justification, name, qualifications, and resume of proposed substitute. - Ensure that all contract support personnel are present and working the required hours; provide written notification to the COR prior to any employee absence where no replacement is provided. - Ensure contractor employees present a professional appearance, comply with all applicable Government regulations, and understand and abide by DHS rules, regulations, and security policies. - Present deliverables, discuss progress, exchange information, and resolve emergent technical problems in monthly status meetings with the COR. - Submit a monthly status report to the KO and COR summarizing all work performed, deliverables completed and planned, schedule status, and any concerns or recommendations, due no later than the 10th business day of each month. - Attend the Post Award Conference within 10 business days of contract award and deliver a draft Project Plan at that time. - Provide a final Project Plan to the COR no later than 10 business days after the Post Award Conference. - Develop and submit a Transition-Out Plan 90 days prior to task order expiration. - Ensure all individually terminated contractor staff are properly cleared through the COR and security, and that identification badges, CAC cards, and GFE are returned. Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions: - Minimum 4 years of experience in a project management role. - Minimum 5 years of experience relevant to the program (program management, administrative support services, or shipbuilding support). - Knowledge of ship construction and government contracting environments. - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Outlook. - Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. - Must be available Monday through Friday, 0900-1700 CST. Required Education/Certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
