Role Description We are looking for a skilled Para Planner to join a growing Australian financial planning team. Primary responsibilities will be to support financial planners in the preparation of Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and ongoing client review documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and licensee requirements. You will also liaise with clients, product providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth advice preparation, implementation, and post implementation review. - Assist financial planners in preparing Statements of Advice, Records of Advice, and review documents - Conduct research on investment, superannuation, insurance, and retirement strategies to support advice recommendations - Prepare product and strategy comparisons, projections, and modelling outputs for adviser review - Collect and verify client information, product disclosure documents, and supporting documentation from clients and third parties - Liaise with product providers, fund managers, and platform administrators to monitor application status and expedite implementation - Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on advice and implementation progress - Maintain compliance with industry regulations, licensee standards, and company policies - Support the team with administrative tasks related to advice preparation, file notes, and CRM updates as required - Conduct post implementation and annual review preparation for clients Qualifications - Previous experience in an Australian financial planning para planning or advice support role required - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment - Proficiency in using CRM and financial planning software, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace - Understanding of Australian financial planning processes, FASEA standards, and licensee requirements - Working knowledge of superannuation, investment, insurance, and retirement planning concepts - Stable work-from-home setup (reliable internet, laptop/desktop, quiet workspace) Requirements - XPLAN experience highly regarded - Full-time, 100% work from home - Stable long-term role with an Australian employer - Employment (not a contractor role) with benefits — 13th month pay, health coverage, and paid annual & sick leaves - Training and support provided - Professional, collaborative team to work with
