Program Manager, Wildfire Mitigation

• Provide leadership and team management by supervising, mentoring, and developing staff by setting clear goals and expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment • Support the design, growth, and implementation of TR’s Wildfire Mitigation Program • Develop relationships with external partners and agencies to support project development • Ensure adequate budgeting, planning, and accounting of; and track, analyze, and report on; labor costs, material cost, and impacts on budget vs actual cost • Collect, analyze, and report on wildfire mitigation impact to stakeholders and donors • Monitor wildfire mitigation project locations and ensure alignment with TR’s priorities for vulnerability, need, and impact • Build, lead, and manage a wildfire fuels reduction crew including team leadership, work assignments, and workflows • Support personnel recruitment, deployment, and well-being in mitigation projects, managing schedules and work rotations • Function as an Agency Executive.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the military, wildfire mitigation, forest management, disaster response, emergency management, or first responder fields
  • Successful past performance managing programs or projects, preferably in the wildfire or forestry fields
  • Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers
  • Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders
  • Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired

Role Description One North is seeking an energetic and motivated Studio Manager-Program & Creative Management with expertise in program oversight, agile delivery operations, and production at scale to be part of our Studio team. This role leads day-to-day engagement delivery while providing program-level governance—ensuring operational rigor, coaching and enabling the Project Managers who execute delivery, and driving performance against SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards. In this position, you will lead a large multi-disciplinary studio team supporting a complex e-commerce client portfolio. You will partner closely with cross-functional client stakeholders, provide leadership and guidance to Studio Leads across UX, Copywriting, and Production, and oversee the Project Management function. As the engagement and service owner, you will manage the overall client relationship and escalation path, lead MBRs and QBRs, and ensure strong financial and delivery health. Serving as the program lead, you will establish and maintain the agile operating model, including intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and sprint execution, while driving delivery performance through your Project Managers. The ideal applicant brings agency and in-house studio experience with a robust track record in shaping operating models, pitching and developing solutions, building and leading teams, and driving delivery excellence through metrics and governance.
