Principal Data Engineer

NBCUniversal

• Drive the overall delivery and support of data and AI applications • Design and build net new and enhance existing tech stack • Develop and maintain applications to support analytics needs • Identify resource constraints, project risks, and development timelines • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and product teams to design and build data applications • Coach junior engineers and manage large-scale software initiatives • Build and manage relationships with supporting engineering teams

Job Requirements

  • 13+ years of experience in a data engineering role
  • Ability to think critically about problems
  • Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale AI systems
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or related field.
