• Serve as the project's technical reference and support the team in development decisions; • Evaluate the client's existing codebase and implement improvements focused on security, performance, and scalability; • Participate in defining the solution architecture and platform integrations; • Develop and support complex features within the Shopify ecosystem; • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and propose appropriate technical solutions; • Support integrations with external systems, payment gateways, ERPs, and third-party services; • Define and promote best practices for development, versioning, and code quality; • Conduct code reviews and provide technical support to other developers on the team; • Maintain code, fix bugs, and ensure application stability; • Participate in project ceremonies and collaborate in a global, multidisciplinary environment; • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform and the project's technical decisions.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in developing e-commerce platforms;
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and its ecosystem;
- Strong knowledge of PHP;
- Knowledge of React;
- Experience with integrations and REST/GraphQL APIs;
- Knowledge of Git;
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind;
- Experience with development best practices, performance, and security;
- Advanced English;
- Knowledge of Jira.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Shopify Plus;
- Experience with BigCommerce;
- Experience with payment platforms (Adyen, Stripe, or similar);
- Experience with tax calculation and US tax rules using Avalara, Vertex, or similar;
- Experience leading teams or projects technically;
- Knowledge of application architecture and scalable integrations.
