• Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support business priorities, organizational changes, and leadership messaging. • Partner with HR, HSE, IT, Finance and business line leaders to ensure clear, aligned, and timely communication across the region. • Build integrated communication plans that leverage email, intranet, SharePoint, Teams, video, and other internal channels. • Write, edit, and publish high quality content including announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, FAQs, talking points, and campaign materials. • Manage and optimize internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams, intranet hubs) to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and easy to navigate. • Maintain editorial calendars and ensure a consistent cadence of communication across business lines. • Develop internal marketing campaigns that support culture, engagement, recruitment, recognition, and organizational initiatives. • Support leadership visibility through presentations, scripts, messaging frameworks, and event communications. • Track communication performance and engagement metrics; use insights to refine content, channels, and strategy. • Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, templates, and workflows. • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and internal stakeholders, helping them communicate effectively and consistently. • Collaborate with global communications teams to ensure alignment with corporate messaging, brand standards, and global initiatives. • Support crisis or urgent communications as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in marketing and/or communications or related field of study
- 5–7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or employee engagement roles within a mid- to large‑scale organization.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience managing internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams, intranet tools).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands‑on experience managing internal communication channels such as SharePoint, Teams, intranet platforms, email systems, survey tools such as Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms/ Survey Monkey and digital signage.
- Strong background in cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with HR, Finance IT, HSE, and business line leaders to ensure message alignment and clarity.

Role Description The Senior Manager, Strategic Communications will lead and strengthen MEI’s voice and brand, both internally and externally.
