Role Description This role is responsible for the full outbound email workflow, from prospect research and list management to campaign launch, deliverability management, optimization, and lead qualification. You will play a key role in helping our sales team generate consistent outbound opportunities through data-driven outreach and personalized messaging. This is not a passive list-sending role. We are looking for someone who understands cold email deeply, knows how to maintain inbox health and deliverability, and can continuously optimize campaigns to improve reply rates and conversions. This is a remote 3 month contract role with potential to extend or convert to fulltime in the future. What you’ll do - Prospect research and list building - Segment prospects by content niche, platform (YouTube, Instagram, blog, podcast, etc.), audience size, and engagement metrics - Maintain organized prospect databases and outreach tracking systems - Cold email campaign execution - Write compelling cold email copy, subject lines, and CTAs tailored to target audiences - Build and launch outbound campaigns across multiple touch points - Monitor campaigns daily and optimize based on engagement and performance metrics - Run A/B tests on subject lines and messaging sequences - Track responses, manage follow-up strategy, and route qualified leads to the appropriate team members - Deliverability and inbox health - Manage domain warmup and inbox reputation using Instantly, Woodpecker, Lemlist, Warmy, and/or similar platforms - Monitor spam scores, bounce rates, sender reputation, and deliverability metrics - Rotate inboxes and sending accounts to maintain campaign performance - Troubleshoot deliverability issues proactively before performance drops - Fluent in SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup and best practices - Platform implementation and operations - Lead implementation of outreach platform (Instantly) and manage day-to-day operations - Schedule and monitor send volumes across multiple inboxes - Support reporting on outreach performance and pipeline - Compliance and best practices - Ensure all campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA standards - Maintain suppression lists and opt-out processes correctly - Follow outbound best practices to protect sender reputation and campaign performance Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in cold email outreach, outbound lead generation, or outbound marketing roles - Deep, hands-on experience with Instantly - Experience setting up a new email outreach platform for a sales team from scratch - Experience writing outbound email copy and managing multi-touch campaigns - Data-driven with an analytical mindset - Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently Preferred Experience - Experience managing deliverability and inbox health at scale - Familiarity with DNS setup, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC basics - Experience with generating outbound pipeline for B2B businesses - Experience working closely with Sales/Growth teams - Familiarity with outbound automation and CRM workflows Benefits - The hourly rate for this position is $75 - $100 per hour. - This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
