Role Description Avalara is looking for a technically experienced Senior GTM Business Insights candidate with exposure to SaaS business to join our Partner Decision Support team. You will create executive reporting dashboards, lead requirements and wireframes of reports, and lead analysis of several GTM plans to support senior executives directly. Avalara's GTM strategy relies on integrations with Technology Partners and demand generation from our partner ecosystem. In this senior role, you will be the analytical engine behind our partner strategy—leading business reporting, strategic planning, and ad-hoc modeling. You will work with multi-dimensional datasets to perform deep-dive analysis, gather complex requirements, and create executive-level Power BI dashboards that provide visibility into global trends and performance. You will work remotely and report to our Global Senior Director, Partner Strategic Planning. - Strategic Requirements Architecture: Partner with GTM leaders to gather and document requirements, ensuring the end-to-end scope of deliverables aligns with global strategic goals. - Snowflake & SQL Data Analysis: Extract and evaluate data from Snowflake. Perform deep-dive analytical research and present findings in clean, actionable formats for non-technical team members. - Executive Dashboarding and Visualization: Build automated data visualizations in Power BI, focusing on improving report "consumption"—making complex data accessible for senior leadership. - Decision Support & Modeling: Help create Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR). Create high-fidelity GTM models to support annual planning with formats in Excel, PowerBI, and other formats. - Data Integrity & Transparency: Act as the "source of truth" for partner data. Manage comprehensive documentation for project plans and roadmaps to ensure total accountability and clarity throughout the execution process. - Improve knowledge of new AI technology tech stack: Learn and adopt newer tools such as Snowflake Cortex and other AI tools to simplify and improve reporting and insights. Qualifications - 6+ years of relevant experience analyzing large datasets and insights in a professional environment. - Experience working in a SaaS or technology company, specifically supporting Sales, Marketing, or Partner functions. - Advanced proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Excel, preferred with knowledge of AI tools like n8n, Snowflake Cortex, and other new tools. - Expert-level experience with Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau), with a focus on building executive-ready dashboards. - Demonstrate deep familiarity with Salesforce (CRM). - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Analytics, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics) required. Requirements - The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws: - Colorado: $111,300 - $178,100 (annually) - Washington: $111,300 - $196,700 (annually) - California: $111,300 - $215,400 (annually) - New York: $111,300 - $215,400 (annually) - This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role. Role Description Reporting to the Director of FP&A Consolidations, the FP&A Analyst will support enterprise-wide financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and operational visibility initiatives across Stord. This role will serve as a critical bridge between Finance, Business Operations, and Data Science to improve financial transparency and enable real-time reporting across the organization. The Analyst will own recurring reporting and variance analysis processes while helping design and operationalize scalable reporting infrastructure within BI reporting tools. A key focus of the role will be partnering with internal Data Science and BI teams to build dashboards that allow business leaders to understand budget utilization, spend trends, forecast performance, and operational drivers in real time. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong financial acumen with systems thinking, analytical rigor, and a passion for making data accessible to non-finance stakeholders.
