Role Description The Senior Subject Matter Expert - Railway Vehicles (Implementation Management) will support railway vehicle procurement and rebuild projects, covering locomotives, multiple units, and rail cars, associated infrastructure, and interface management. This role involves managing all phases of rolling stock procurement and integration, from concept through commissioning and regulatory compliance. - Lead procurement and delivery of passenger rail vehicles, focusing on battery powertrains and hydrogen fuel cell hybrids. - Manage rolling stock engineering projects from concept to completion in passenger rail and transit. - Manage technical programs for novel powertrain vehicle deployment, including associated infrastructure. - Lead stakeholder engagements for new vehicle procurements and associated infrastructure. - Manage hazard and risk processes associated with new vehicle introduction. - Support funding acquisition for projects, including grant applications. - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of vehicles to specified quality levels. - Participate in design reviews to ensure designs meet client requirements. - Implement QA/QC procedures for rolling stock and infrastructure designs. - Support client relations, marketing activities, scope development, and contract negotiations. - Manage project lifecycle activities: planning, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration. - Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams and ensure compliance with FRA regulations. - Oversee testing, commissioning, and readiness for revenue service of new rolling stock. - Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including Technical Advisory Group meetings. - Provide quality assurance services, including audits and inspections. - Draft, edit, and review technical specifications and compliance documentation. Role Description The Implementation Delivery Lead (IDL) will help support the system development and testing for Channel Partner implementation clients. The IDL is directly responsible for helping bswift meet and exceed client expectations by supporting consumers on our best-in-class HR software and services.
