Data Center Quality Assurance Inspectors
AECOM
Role Description AECOM is seeking Data Center Quality Assurance Inspectors nationally. This position can be remote. - Inspect building systems, including mechanical and electrical, for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards. - Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to confirm alignment with project specifications. - Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems, confirming proper functionality and performance. - Identify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions. - Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance tracking. - Oversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts. - witness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-ups. - Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to confirm adherence to project specifications. - Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other inspectors to resolve issues. - Maintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings. - Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables. - Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure. - Coordinate GC Workplan and advise if the construction contractor fails to promptly remove, correct, or replace unacceptable construction work, and assess any delays caused by such failure. Qualifications - Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. - Preferred Requirements: 7 years of experience with construction and/or quality management. - CQM or other professional certifications. - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture. Requirements - Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. - Relocation is not available for this position. - Potential up to 90% travel anywhere in US. - All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
