• Support senior colleagues across business development and sales activities. • Help the team stay organised, responsive and effective. • Support the team with booking and coordinating meetings with potential and existing clients. • Shadow and support senior sales colleagues during client calls, follow-ups, and deal development activities. • Assist with client replies, follow-ups, and day-to-day communication. • Help with LinkedIn outreach, including preparing messages, tracking responses, and supporting lead generation activities. • Maintain and update client and prospect information in internal tools and trackers. • Support senior colleagues with preparation for client calls, meetings, and follow-ups. • Help prepare materials, lists, and logistics for industry events, conferences, and networking activities. • Assist with research on potential clients, markets, industries, and business opportunities. • Coordinate internal communication between Growth, Marketing, Product, and other teams when needed. • Support ad-hoc commercial and administrative tasks related to business development.

Job Requirements

  • Interest in fintech, payments, B2B sales and international business.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to write clear, professional messages.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using LinkedIn and willingness to learn outreach tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to support several tasks at the same time and follow up consistently.
  • Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken.

As a part-time Business Development Executive at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring customer success within the Northern Southland territory. Working 3–4 days per week, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter's on-the-ground representative. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a focus on both expansion and long-term customer satisfaction within the dairy industry.
