Enterprise Business Development Representative

• Own top-of-funnel pipeline creation through strategic outbound prospecting into defined mid-market segments (typically 5–50+ locations) • Research target accounts to personalize outreach and demonstrate a strong understanding of each prospect’s business • Engage senior stakeholders—including Owners, Founders, CMOs, and Operations leaders—in value-driven conversations • Uncover pain points related to customer engagement, retention, and growth through thoughtful discovery • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline tracking, and reporting • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to refine messaging and targeting
• Execute client outreach campaigns targeting accounts flagged for decreased usage or churn risk. • Conduct phone calls, emails, and other touchpoints to uncover reasons for disengagement and offer solutions tailored to their needs. • Follow structured retention and re-engagement processes defined by the Customer Success Program Manager. • Meet defined KPIs such as number of accounts reactivated, reduction in churn percentage, and revenue expansion metrics. • Log all client feedback, pain points, and objections. • Act as a supportive point of contact for at-risk or flatlined clients until they are stabilized.
• Manage & Grow Existing Strategic Partnerships • Own relationships with key platform partners including Toast, Square, Clover, Shopify, and others • Develop strong relationships with partner relationship managers and regional sales leaders • Drive consistent referral flow and identify new referral opportunities within each partner organization • Maintain technical alignment by building relationships with partner integration and product teams • Ensure TapMango integrations remain up to date, competitive, and well-positioned within partner ecosystems • Track and report on partner-sourced leads, conversion rates, and revenue • Identify, recruit, and onboard new ISO (Independent Sales Organization) partners • Develop a repeatable outbound strategy to engage and sign new ISOs • Negotiate and structure referral agreements • Enable new partners with positioning, sales materials, and ongoing support • Build a predictable partner-sourced pipeline channel and monitor performance
• Designing test strategies for ordering flows, loyalty mechanics, and payment processing • Building automation frameworks that catch regressions in checkout, points calculation, and promo logic • Validating integrations with POS systems, payment gateways, and delivery platforms • Leading release decisions — balancing "ship fast" with "don't break merchant revenue" • Performance testing for peak traffic scenarios (lunch rush, Black Friday promotions) • Mentoring QA team on domain expertise and automation practices • Partnering with Engineering and Product to bake quality in, not bolt it on • Hunting edge cases that would cause failed orders, lost points, or incorrect charges
• Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close targeting thrift organizations, retail, and restaurant groups (typically 20–75+ locations) • Lead discovery, demos, and stakeholder presentations across complex buying groups including Operations, Marketing, IT, and Executive teams • Negotiate contracts, design customized deal structures, and manage multi-stakeholder buying processes • Build relationships with enterprise customers and identify expansion and upsell opportunities • Operate autonomously across multiple enterprise sales motions and verticals • Partner cross-functionally with Implementation and Customer Success to support onboarding, rollout, and long-term account success • Develop tailored rollout strategies by vertical and identify patterns to refine messaging and sales playbooks • Manage deals with strong organization, communication, and follow-through • Mentor junior AEs and contribute to overall deal and account strategy
• Designing and building scalable backend services using .NET Core, Web API, and microservices • Implementing complex business logic for ordering, loyalty programs, promotions, and payments • Integrating with POS systems, payment gateways, delivery platforms, and third-party APIs • Architecting data models and optimizing MS SQL Server for high-transaction workflows • Making architectural decisions and influencing technical direction • Leading technical projects from conception to deployment • Mentoring and guiding developers through technical challenges and code reviews • Building Angular frontends and working across the full stack when needed • Performance optimization and scalability work for multi-tenant SaaS environment • DevOps activities—CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus), deployment automation, on-call rotation • Handling edge cases, failure scenarios, and distributed transactions
• You're the bridge between raw operational chaos and polished analytics. • Building ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve data at scale • Designing warehouse schemas (star schemas, fact tables, the whole dimensional modeling thing) • Creating pre-aggregated datasets so dashboards load fast and analysts stay happy • Making sure data flows reliably from source systems → transformations → analytics layer • Partnering with analytics team to understand what data they actually need • Optimizing the infrastructure so it doesn't cost a fortune or fall over • Building data quality checks because garbage in = garbage out
