Director, Product Management - Credit Risk

Provenir Inc

Role Description Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will own day-to-day product management for Provenir's Credit Risk & Customer Management capabilities, with a particular focus on customer engagement and supporting our GTM activities. You will manage the full product value chain from concept through to commercial launch, acting as the primary Product Management voice for Credit Risk. This is a role for someone who combines deep credit risk domain knowledge with sharp product & commercial instincts - someone equally comfortable defining requirements with an engineering team, shaping a commercial proposition with sales leadership, and engaging directly with customers and prospects. This is a remote role with occasional travel to regional offices. What You'll Do - Commercial Engagement & Enablement - Enable Sales, Presales, and Customer Success teams to articulate and demonstrate the value of Provenir's Credit Risk capabilities with confidence and consistency. - Support the development of demo assets, messaging frameworks, and enablement materials that equip the field to win. - Contribute to GTM strategies that drive revenue growth across credit risk use cases - including originations, underwriting, portfolio management, and decision intelligence. - Support strategic customer engagements, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and regional pipeline development as a subject matter expert. - Product Strategy & Roadmap - Own the roadmap and product requirements for Provenir's Credit Risk decisioning capabilities, driving prioritisation in line with market opportunity, customer need, and commercial objectives. - Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and positioning advantages. - Develop a clear and differentiated product proposition that resonates with fintechs, banks, and financial institutions operating in the US and Canadian markets. - Define and track success metrics for the product, using data to inform roadmap decisions and demonstrate commercial impact. - Engineering & Delivery Collaboration - Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate market and customer requirements into well-defined functional and technical specifications. - Act as the connective tissue between commercial priorities and technical delivery - maintaining clarity on timelines, trade-offs, and dependencies for all relevant stakeholders. - Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong working relationships across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery - ensuring frequent, clear communication on timelines and priorities. - Engage directly with customers and prospects in North America to gather insight, validate direction, and strengthen Provenir's relationships with key accounts. Qualifications - 3+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years in a B2B SaaS environment. - Strong domain knowledge in credit risk - including originations, underwriting, credit decisioning, or related areas within financial services. - Solid understanding of the financial services market, including the regulatory and competitive dynamics shaping credit risk technology adoption. - Experience translating customer and market insight into clearly defined product requirements and roadmap priorities. - Commercial instinct - able to connect product decisions to revenue outcomes and communicate value in business terms. - Strong technical grounding and a solid understanding of software development processes, APIs, and data-driven platforms. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable engaging with engineers, executives, and customers in equal measure. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Requirements - Experience with AI/ML-powered decisioning or risk analytics platforms (advantageous). - Familiarity with the broader Provenir product ecosystem or adjacent decisioning technology (advantageous). - Background spanning both product and go-to-market functions (advantageous). - Experience working in a high-growth or scale-up fintech environment (advantageous). Benefits - Comprehensive health and wellness plans. - Paid time off and company holidays. - Flexible and remote-friendly opportunities. - Maternity/paternity leave. Company Description Provenir is a global fintech company with offices across North America, the UK, and Singapore backed by talented teams across APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. Provenir helps fintechs, financial institutions, and payment providers make smarter decisions, faster. We are passionate about technology and empowering businesses to become industry leaders.
