SFDC CPQ Developer

Role Description - CPQ Development & Customization: - Develop and customize Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet complex business requirements. - Configure and extend CPQ features such as: - Product rules and configuration logic - Price rules and discounting logic - Quote templates and document generation - Build custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), and Visualforce. - Advanced Pricing & Logic Implementation: - Implement complex pricing models including: - Tiered pricing - Volume-based pricing - Subscription pricing - Develop advanced rules for product bundling and validation. - Integration Development: - Design and implement integrations between Salesforce CPQ and: - ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) - Billing platforms - External tax and pricing engines - Use REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi). - Data Management & Migration: - Develop scripts and tools for data migration and product catalog setup. - Ensure data quality and consistency across CPQ and integrated systems. - Handle large datasets and performance optimization. - Automation & Process Optimization: - Build automation using: - Salesforce Flows - Apex Triggers - Batch Jobs - Optimize quote generation and approval workflows. - Performance Optimization: - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in CPQ configurations. - Optimize large product catalogs and pricing calculations. - Ensure system scalability and reliability. Qualifications - Strong experience in Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) - Proficiency in: - Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex - Lightning Web Components (LWC) / Aura - Visualforce (if legacy support needed) - Expertise in: - Product Rules & Price Rules - Quote Calculation Sequence - CPQ APIs - Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud) - Integration Skills: - Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs - Experience with middleware tools (MuleSoft preferred) - Understanding of data synchronization patterns - DevOps & Tools: - Version control: Git - CI/CD tools: Copado, Gearset, Jenkins - Salesforce DX (preferred) - Functional Knowledge: - Understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle - Knowledge of subscription models, renewals, and amendments - Certifications (Preferred): - Salesforce CPQ Specialist - Salesforce Platform Developer I / II - Salesforce Administrator Experience - Typically 4–10+ years in Salesforce development - At least 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ development Company Description At Zensar, we’re “experience-led everything”.
